My place of biz is redoing some of their art work around the building. As a member of the photo-club we were asked to take pictures of different topics. The pictures were submitted to the decorating people and they chose their top four favorite images. My topic I entered was Farmer's Market. I am one of the lucky four to have my snap enlarged and hung on the wall of our building for all to see. Here is my picture.
I am a big fan of foggy mornings. Those are the mornings I want to go and drive around just snapping away. Those pretty foggy mornings seem to be on days when I have to work. As pulled in the parking lot one morning I decided to snap (with my point and shoot camera) since I couldn't go drive around.

It snowed last Saturday. I am hoping that was the last of it. The flakes were large and fluffy. I attempted to snap a few on my windshield as soon as they landed but it is pretty hard, they melt quickly. Here are a few of my attempts.
I was not so lucky each time as they quickly turn into blobs.

Last week I posted some snaps of flowers. This week I enjoyed their beauty but in their withered form. Even though they seem lifeless and lacking color. There still seems to be some beauty hidden in their dried up petals. Here is the beauty I saw in their withered phase.

I am a member of a photography club and we meet the first Thursday of every month. We have competitions, discuss different techniques and even have some hands on camera practice. Last Thursdays was macro. Here are a few snaps experimenting with water and macro. These is my first time using a macro lens, which I was able to use from another club member, it was a great experience.
Here I am attempting to capture the water drops on a flower. As you can see it takes a while to focus on the water drops. First few shots...fail...as you can see below.
I got a little crisper as I took more snaps and made adjustments to my camera.
I think this snap of the water drops turned out pretty good.
After leaving photo club I wanted to go on a snapping frenzy. However it is 9:00 pm at night. So I take a few shots in the parking lot (adjust in Photoshop) and call it a night.
